Tanyashae Chin's Diorama

I chose the topic of education for my diorama because as a full time student, I do feel very strongly about my education. I think that too many people, especially the young people of today, take an education lightly. My education is extremely important to me because I have learned that you can never be sure of anything in life; but the one thing that is guaranteed is that the right education can take you anywhere you want to be. It is the one thing that can never be taken away from you. Once you have it, it is yours forever.

Poverty by Cannon Wilson

I chose to model my diorama about poverty in Africa. Last summer I traveled to Nairobi, Kenya in Africa with ABAC college in Tifton, Georgia. My school raised money for two schools in the slums of Nairobi. The poverty level in Nairobi is unbelievable and living conditions seem to be unbearable. My diorama shows some photos I took while I was there, and the art in the middle is something I showed the kids at the school in Nairobi how to make.

Nikki's Diorama - Drinking and Driving

I chose to do my diorama on drunk driving. Being a college student, I know people are going to drink, myself included. My only problem is people who drink and drive. I lost a friend in high school due to someone drinking and then getting behind the wheel. I also know people who have been in accidents or in trouble because of it as well. This is a problem around the country, yet one that personally effects my friends and myself.

I chose Global Warming for my diorama because I feel that it is a very important issue in our world today. All of the pollution is hurting our planet. In this diorama I decided to show the effects of pollution. On the left half of the box it is a very clean environment with clear skies, green grass, and healthy people. The right half of the box shows a polluted environment with trash everywhere, smoggy skies, and unhealthy people because of unclean air. On the top of the box it shows different images of the earth and how it is being harmed by all the pollution in the environment.

This diarama explains a little about the controversy of whether Tupac Shakur is dead or alive. Tupac was shot 5 times in a car and was taken to a hospital and died seven days later on friday the 13th. He was a huge fan of Machiavelli who faked his death to outwit his enemies. His last albm and videos were under the name makaveli not tupac?? who really knows?

Devin's Diorama of the political race

This my diorama of the political race. I feel that this political race is one of the most important issues going on in America. I put up pictures of the two major canidates, Barack Obama (far left) and John McCain (far right). I used cars to symbolize the canidates. And the finsh line (far left wall) has the presidential symbol to represent the goal of the race and the prize. The start line (far rigth wall) is actually a picture of slavey chains/cuffs. This represents where us Black/African-American people have come from and how far we will go to reach our goal. And on the back are a check and x for when people vote. All of this is inside a voting box. The size of the pictures also represent who i plan to vote for and who is in the lead or has the greatest chance of winning.

Meghan Odom's Diorama

This is my diorama, and my topic i picked was criminal justice. Criminal Justice is important to me because its all about protecting and serving the people. One of the main reasons that criminal justice is a disturbing topic to me is because there are so many problems with the United States criminal justice system. There are little cop figures in the box along with a pair of handcuffs, a badge, and a gun. On the insides of the box are a few stats about prisoners and a few unforgettable serial killers in the United States.

Ariel's Diorama

My diorama is about the battle between Good and Evil, Love and Hate, Right and Wrong. A battle this world and many others have been fighting for centuries. We all live in our own world fighting inside ourselves between the two; not really realizing that this battle is much bigger than you and I. Our own personal battles aren't the only battles we face. We only see the surface of the problem. We war amongst ourslves fighting over material things we see; not paying attention to the things not seen but felt. A spiritual battle wars on. While we fight over money, clothes, cars, oil, and land; there are spirits fighting over our souls.
*Inside:
lion=represents evil spirits of our world
Lamb=represents good spirits of our world
*On top:
Red= represents evil of the spiritual world
White= represents good of the spiritual world
